Createx Monotype Colors are water-based, print making colors perfected for single print transfers off a metal, glass, Plexiglas or other non-porous plate onto paper.  Monotype Colors are unique colors using lightfast pigments and designed to easily release off the place, a characteristic unlike traditional acrylic paints.  While they are made with a non-acrylic resin and not suitable for use as a standard acrylic color, Monotype Colors allow for print making techniques which incorporate textures and techniques that cannot be obtained by painting directly onto paper.  They are non-toxic and meet to ASTM-D4236 standards.
